I have to credit my mother
for sparking my interest
in design and home decorating.
Many of my toys
encouraged my creativity by
allowing me to mold the world
to the way I wanted it to be:
constructing with Lego Logs,
decorating Barbie's townhouse,
graphing home floor plans.
After school,
I was lucky enough
to experience a variety of
manufacturing and design jobs
that have provided me with
a thorough understanding
of the myriad details
necessary to create
functional, comfortable spaces.
After ten years in the housing industry
and seven years
designing custom cabinetry,
I now work independently
with select clients
to build the space of their dreams.
Using a client's dream list,
I incorporate all their wants and needs
with their actual physical space.
With computer-generated pictures
to illustrate my ideas,
that space comes to life!
The client is able to view the space
from all angles before committing
to pricey space alterations
or custom cabinetry.
Through partnerships with
local cabinetry shops
and decorating houses,
I'm able to see the project
through to its completion,
providing peace of mind for my client
and a gorgeous living space for
them and their family
for many years to come.

He’s a Lil’ Runaway! (via Nori (FineCrafted))
I helped herd a horse back to his own yard on my way home from my shop today. Can’t get that type of experience in the big city. :)
I noticed him because he was very close to the road. Then I saw the Amish man trying to catch up to him…down in the field below the road. I waited on him and asked if I could help, and he had me direct with my vehicle (using the horn and slowly herding) as he chased the horse out of the neighbor’s yard. Fun stuff!
